Recently, in the first leg of a Copa Libertadores quarterfinal, Colo-Colo drew 1-1 with River Plate at home. Chilean star Vidal, who plays for Colo-Colo, expressed his confidence in the second leg of the match.
“If you look at the titles, I have more championships than the entire River Plate team,” Vidal said confidently, “I think we are superior. The game went perfectly, it’s just unfortunate that we didn’t win. The second leg will be a big battle, but I have great confidence in our team. I believe we can advance and fight for the trophy again like we did in ’91.”
On September 15th at 8:30, Colo-Colo will play away against River Plate to decide who advances to the next round.
