September 28, official news reports that Australian international Chelcardi has suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tear.
According to the official news from Parma Club, the 20-year-old Chelcardi has been confirmed to have torn his left knee’s anterior cruciate ligament and will be out indefinitely.
This season, Chelcardi made 5 appearances for Parma, starting in 4 matches. In national team competitions, Chelcardi played the full duration of the last three World Cup qualifiers, and this injury means he will not be able to play for the national team.
